What’s in a name?
In just about every religion or belief in the world, there are understandings of the power of three. I happen to adore that it is one constant that all of humanity seems to agree upon.
Trinity to me can mean many different things all in the course of one day:
life-death-rebirth, mind-body-soul, mother-father-child, mother-maiden-crone, past-present-future, power-intellect-love, father-son-holy spirit and creation-preservation-destruction to name a few. The power of three is also mathematical greatness. It seems even coffee is considered to be preferred in three categories: black, tan and almost white. If you look around the world in nature and in interactions with others, three is a powerful number. Some might even call it divine.
Me, I just consider the word trinity to encompass all those things and so much more. Plus, it’s the best character in the movie Matrix. So there’s that.
In John Barnes Moyfascial Release we consider the “Trinity of MFR” to be Structural Work-Unwinding-Rebounding and why I chose Trinity to carry out my mission to those I treat.
